Married in the 'Hood

For the past year we have been meeting with a group of young marrieds here at Freedom Fire/Freedom Covenant Church. Marriage is disappearing all over, and especially in the 'hood. But these couples are choosing marriage under God and raising their kids that way. Man has it been fun seeing them grow, develop community, encourage each other, and discover we all have the same issues regardless of background. We started out discussing the 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman - lots of insight and laughter on that one. This month we are headed for a Married Couples Retreat at Camp Shalom. Other newly marrieds in our congregation are joining us as we move along. We have nothing but high expectations from our Father as he showers these young marrieds with his grace and love.
